Introduction
Vinyl 2-ethylhexanoate is a reactive vinyl ester suitable for copolymerisation with other vinyl/alkene type monomers, including styrenics, methyacrylates, crotonates, maleates etc. Used in; Polymers for industrial paints and coatings such as anti-corrosion paints, wood coatings and varnishes and coatings for polyolefins, Latex’s and spray-dried re-dispersible powders for mortar admixtures. Latex’s for adhesives including pressure sensitive, construction and wood adhesives. Reactive diluent for specific heat-cured unsaturated polyesters
