Digitalization for safer and more efficient operations

Seqens produces in France sodium bi-carbonate which is essential for dialysis. The necessary limestone is extracted from a quarry where the cutting lines and the routes of the extraction and transport machines are entirely digitalized. A UAV carries out a monthly topographical survey, and the data are then interpreted locally to determine future extraction zones and access routes. This digitization allows better forecasting of operations and greatly improves the safety of personnel movements in the quarry.
