Introduction
ARCOT® 644 is a 400 TBN overbased calcium sulfonate passive extreme pressure
(PEP) additive.
It is recommended for neat metalworking fluids on ferrous and nonferrous metals.
ARCOT® 644 is synergistic with Sulfurized Extreme Pressure Additives and especially
provides outstanding performances for heavy duty metalworking applications.
Moreover, thanks to its reserve basicity,
ARCOT® 644 also provides effective corrosion protection.
ARCOT® 644 is soluble in solvents and most of synthetic and mineral oils and offers
good demulsifying properties.
